How Are You Growing?
Why don't we ask each other this question more often? I have learned, in my experience, that I am no longer interested in stagnant people. I am no longer interested in shallow conversations. Yes, they have a place sometimes but I'm finding that rarer and rarer. Instead, I want to know what excites you, what flames the fuel of your passions!
Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., said "To be seventy years young is sometimes far more cheeful and hopeful than to be forty years old." Wow! Read that again! To be seventy years young is sometimes far more cheeful and hopeful than to be forty years old.
When was the last time you got out of your comfort zone? I recently took two online courses. Why had I quit doing that? Did I think I was too busy? Whatever my logic, I found myself totally stimulated and joyous to be learning something new. As a Spiritual Medium and Teacher, it was such a thrill to be taught by someone else! What a nice break!
I have been too busy. I let my creative side flounder. I am now picking my needle back up and keeping an ongoing needlework project beside my favorite chair. In between these projects, I'm painting. Nothing fancy, just fun stuff. I'm not worrying about what anyone else will think. I'm pleasing myself. What freedom!
What could you do today that would stretch your comfort zone? What could you do that would bring you joy? You are worth this question!
You're still here? Quit reading and have fun!
Until next time...
