How I Knew About & Opened Up to Spirit
I have seen Spirit since I was a child but I didn't know what to do when I saw them. It really scared me! It never occurred to me to speak to them. Finally, I blocked them out. This went on for decades until my husband and I lost our daughter at the age of 15. Tricia began to visit my sister frequently. My sister sees Spirit as well but has never developed her gift fully. She has been visited many times by family members. When I heard that Tricia was visiting my sister, it really upset me! I wanted her to visit ME!
That's when I decided to remedy the situation! I began to read everything I could find on the internet about Spirit. I was very afraid about reading the wrong thing and also about getting in with the wrong crowd. I was definitely all about the Light and was worried about getting into anything that did not edify God. I asked for divine help in guidance as far as books and teachers. I began to make a date every single day with our daughter and I was faithful to keep it. No matter what I was doing, I dropped it all at a specific time. I meditated to raise my vibration, using my favorite guided meditation, then I immediately went into meditation trying to connect with Tricia. Nothing happened for two weeks but I was faithful. Every day I would set my intention and I would ask for divine help.
One night, I was awakened by Spirit and there she was! Seems I was a lot easier to contact when I was relaxed! From then on, Spirit started coming to me on a regular basis. It finally got to the point that, after a great deal of consideration and prayer, I became a professional Medium.
How does that affect you? I am telling my story because I believe EVERYONE has the capacity to connect with Spirit. Not many people care to be a professional Medium so don't worry about other Spirit coming to you. In pre-birth planning, I had planned this lifetime to open to Spirit and become a Medium. If you want to connect with Spirit in order to connect with deceased loved ones or your Angels and Spirit Guides, more power to you and that's the best reason of all!
