What Happens When Someone Dies

We all have choices when we die. One of those is to hang around for a short time. Many Spirits like to attend their service or say a last goodbye to family and friends. If you feel their presence, know that you are probably right! Others choose to go straight on to the afterlife.

It is my understanding that suicides do not choose but go straight to a place where they are ministered to. These are safe and loving places where their Angels, Guides and deceased loved ones help them to heal from their pain. It is also my understanding that some people who have really suffered here on earth also go to these places for healing. This would be by their choice.

Once transitioning, all souls have a Life Review. As Christians, many are terrified of the judgment that we have been taught since we were small children. This does not happen. God does not judge us. We judge ourselves. In our Life Review, we quite literally go through our lives and see our actions through others' eyes. For example, if I hurt you terribly, I will see my actions through your eyes and feel your emotions as they were affected by my actions. This is how we learn our life lessons.

Our Life Review can take many months for some while moving very quickly for others. During that time, many grieving here on earth want to connect. It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for a medium to connect to someone in their Life Review process. I don't attempt to read for anyone who has been gone for less than nine months.

I can't tell you everything about the hereafter but I can tell you that the souls I have spoken with are happy, healthy and whole. I hope that this blog post has answered some of your questions today!
