Dolphin: We Can All Share This Planet
Who doesn't love to see a dolphin? They are highly intelligent with a larger brain that is similar to humans. They can swim up to 20 mph and dive up to 1000 feet. They live in pods (groups) as they play and hunt together. Dolphins are in the same family as killer and pilot whales with killer whales actually being the largest dolphin!
When I spoke with Dolphin, I first connected to a representative of their species then I connected with a living member.
Representative of Species:
Thank you for calling us today for we welcome this opportunity to connect with man! We are the jokers of the ocean but we are also fierce hunters. This provides us with a balance that helps us to live full lives. We come to you today to point this out.
Many times humans lack balance. There is a time for play and a time for work. We are here to remind you of this.
We appreciate how humankind has felt about us. We have been revered since man discovered us. We love living on this planet with you. Alas, we see our fellow brethren of different species who struggle. Not all species are privileged to have the camaraderie we enjoy with you. We ask that you look upon all species as innately divine as created by our Creator. We can all share this planet. There is room for us all or we would not have been created to live here together in the first place.
At this, Dolphin had me lift my head and they shimmied forward and "kissed" my nose. What an honor!
Individual:
No sooner had the first dolphin left than the living species here on earth swam into my office. They smilingly told me they live in the Pacific Ocean.
I take this as a great responsibility to speak with you today, Lacey, for I am the representative of all living on this earth. We are grateful to be here but I would like to use this platform to speak about an issue that is affecting our homes. Litter is polluting our oceans at a far faster rate than I believe humans can comprehend. We realize and are thankful for all of those making a real effort towards the conservation of our planet. I am able to read your mind and see where you posted a great deal about plastics recently. This is truly the bane of our existence. It blows in the wind and even the most conservative boater can accidentally lose a bag here and there. These plastics never disintegrate but live on by either attaching themselves to the wildlife here or creating islands of floating debris. Birds are continually getting stuck in it because they land in the debris, thinking it is a place of respite and rest, when; in fact, it becomes a deathtrap. Living things below the plastic get stuck in it while rising for air. I would ask, we ALL would ask, that everyone please be very conscientious about your use of this product.
I appreciate this platform so much. I do not want to be negative but feel so strongly that humans can make a difference and stop this problem.

We know that we adorn your bodies in t-shirts and all kinds of clothing. We know that we adorn many women in jewelry and all kinds of things that humans honor and we appreciate that. We love you too. We love sharing this wonderful planet with you. Thank you for taking us into your hearts for we are happy there.
This is an ongoing series on my blog. I speak with domesticated animals on a very regular basis. Each time I speak with a wild animal, I am humbled, truly humbled, by their dignity and grace.
