Gorilla: We Are More Alike Than Different

Gorillas are the world's largest primate with 98% of their DNA matching ours! They are easily identified from their nose prints that are as unique to their species as are human fingerprints. They live in groups called troops and their babies are called infants, just like ours! We have so much in common with these beautiful creatures yet we are their biggest enemy. It is estimated that only 880 mountain gorillas exist in the world (none in zoos). The western lowland gorilla may number up to 100,000 but the other two subspecies are under 4000. Gorillas are vital for their ecosystem as they help to carry new plants everywhere they go through their droppings. Every time we lose a gorilla it is not just their species that are hurt but we are also hurting Mother Earth. Gorillas are vitally needed in their forests.

When I connected with Gorilla, I first spoke with the species representative then I spoke with a living gorilla here on earth. I had really dreaded this reading because I feel so badly about what is happening to Gorilla here on earth.

The collective representative that came to me was a female. I am normally not aware of gender as it doesn't affect the reading but this great ape sat in front of me and comforted me before we even began.

Representative of Species:

Greetings, Sweet Ones, who care enough to read of us. We have been here for so many years. We have loved our Mother Earth so very much. We are creatures of family and love. We are intensely loyal. Lacey has been so worried about our reaction for this reading. I believe, we all believe, that you are intensely aware of what is happening to us in the wild. It has been portrayed across all the earth. At this point, we can only hope and pray for the education of man as he learns that our hands are not magic, nothing about us is magic. We are merely peace-loving creatures who long to live the life we were created for.

We ask for your prayers as well. We ask that you pray that people who are uneducated will finally open their hearts to see that they have never needed anything about us to enhance their power. Creator gives all living beings power. Humans need to learn to embrace their own. Grabbing a talisman from a wild animal will not help you to find that.

Blessings to all who fight for our survival. We know this and we feel this energy at a deep soul level, as a species.

Thank you, Mother Gorilla, for not hating us all because of the actions of some.

No, Lacey, that is not who we are. We are truly emissaries of strong, gentle love. I know that you can feel this now with me.

I do. I honor it and I honor you and your species.

So, too, do we honor man. Pray for us.

The living gorilla came running up to me then, quite carefree, beating their chest.

Hello! Thank you for calling me today! I am in a family that is quite large. There are 12 of us. We range in age from 2 - 20. I am aware you have spoken to our Collective Representative so I will use this time to educate you more about us. We are gentle giants. You would think, as large as we are, that we are great meat eaters but we rarely touch meat. We mostly live on grains and what you consider vegetables.

We enjoy seeing man, peaceful man. We understand energy and know immediately what kind of human is trying to share our space. Peaceful man is such a pleasure as we interact. We enjoy those who appreciate our species. There truly is a way for all of us to live together.

Thank you to all who work on our behalf for you do what we cannot. As this message here will be relayed in print, others work to establish our presence in your minds as a creature that is not scary but one that loves their family, just as you do. One that is social, just as you are. One that tries their best to live in a peaceful manner, just as most of you do. We are far more alike than different.
